Spring Family Photo Session
Family photoshoot with gorgeous spring daffodils
Relaxed family day out with daffodils and spring awakening trees
When the winter ends, spring is not just another season that comes after, but it also brings back “life” to nature. I can’t stop admiring all the trees starting to bloom and spring flowers with the most beautiful colours on earth. For example, just imagine all the daffodils with their amazing white and yellow blossoms and dreamy bluebells. Who wouldn’t like that? I most certainly do! Not to mention all the smiling, cheeky, jumpy and happy children I meet on a spring family photoshoot every year!
I always try to find attractive locations, so that you have a cafe and playground nearby as well. Oh, and get ready to have some fun too! Spring family portraits come in a package with lots of bubbles, hiding games, daffodils, and more.

What to expect from the spring family portraits photo session
A spring photo session is normally the first mini session in a year. Although, sometimes I do winter ones in January too. In addition, it is also a great opportunity for a family day out where children can freely run around. But they are not the only ones having fun – I have it too. Spring season affects me very positively and fills me with lots of energy and joy. Therefore, don’t be surprised if you see me lying on the ground in daffodils and playing with kids while taking their close up spring portraits. As a matter of fact, you should have fun too, or jump like a monkey if that makes you or your little one smile. I have seen it all.
Daffodils are not native flowers in parks and woods (they are planted), therefore, locations for these sessions are the same every year. However, as some of you might have already joined me and visited that same location, I try to introduce something new. For example, a new photo prop or a different pose or place at this location. For others, the same location for spring photo session is preferable as you can watch your kids grow up with yearly photos.
The weather in March is also still a little unpredictable (well, like the rest of the year isn’t). Because of that, sometimes we have to reschedule the session (standard or spring mini session) and expect that the grounds might be wet too. Oh, and one more thing – let’s not stomp and destroy these gorgeous and fragile spring flowers.
Your own selection and professional processing of high-res photos
Just like with my other sessions, I will send you a link to your personal online gallery, to choose the photos you like the most. In the weeks after, I will carefully create gorgeous high-resolution family spring portraits for you.
Natural light photography is already my favourite thing, so expect nothing less from these photos too. I capture them in bright and soft style (not shiny or overexposed) with sun rays and spring flowers playing a big part of it. These photos speak family love out of them and can be placed anywhere around your house. Oh, and if you like the colours and nature, perhaps, you would be interested in my autumn mini sessions too?
